History
With more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, he was helming various senior positions including Senior Director, Logic Technology Development Head of Shanghai Huali Microelectronics Corporation (“HLMC”), Vice President, Operations & Technology Development for Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (“GSMC”), Deputy Director of Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing in Singapore, and Deputy Director of Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation in Shanghai, China.
He lent his expertise to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (“TSMC”) as Manager, and Technical Manager (Process Integration, Technology Development) at Worldwide Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
He also served as Department Manager of Process Integration at Mimos Berhad.
He earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s Degree in Physics from Georgia State University, Atlanta in the United States of America, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University.
