Jasbendarjit Kaur is Group Head IT of Dagang NeXchange Berhad (”DNeX”) with effect from 1 December 2024.

History

In this pivotal role, she is responsible for leading the Group’s technology strategy, overseeing IT services and operations, and spearheading transformative initiatives to advance DNeX’s digital capabilities, enhance customer experiences, and optimise operational efficiencies.

With a deep technical expertise, she has a proven track record in designing, deploying, and managing complex hardware and software infrastructures. She leads DNeX’s IT infrastructure management across multiple production, disaster recovery, and development sites, utilising a diverse array of operating systems and applications to ensure business continuity and innovation.

Her leadership extends to architecting and aligning enterprise-wide technology frameworks with business objectives, enabling the strategic planning and successful execution of technology initiatives that drive organisational growth. By creating structured roadmaps and ensuring the integration of cutting edge technologies, she has played a critical role in positioning DNeX as an industry leader in advanced, AI-powered solutions.

She is at the forefront of DNeX’s integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (“AI”), cloud computing, Internet of Things (“IoT”), big data analytics, blockchain, and cybersecurity. Under her leadership, these innovations are positioned to transform DNeX’s operations, fostering greater competitiveness, driving operational efficiency, and further solidifying the company’s leadership position in both the private and public sectors while contributing to Malaysia’s growing digital economy.

Her strategic direction has also been integral to securing significant government contracts and high-profile multinational projects, supporting the company’s expansion. Notably, she has led efforts to develop a regional trade platform aimed at enhancing cross-border commerce within the ASEAN region, while modernising mission-critical systems to improve both operational workflows and the overall customer experience.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science from Staffordshire University, United Kingdom, and an Executive Master’s in Management from Asia e-University.
