Marlishiraz Ramli (“Shiraz Ramli”) is Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of DNeX IT at Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”) with effect from 1 June 2025.
In this role, she is leading the strategic direction, performance and innovation across all IT business segments within the Group. With a mandate to drive synergy, innovation, operational efficiency and technology excellence, she is spearheading the Group’s digital transformation agenda and ensure technology strategies are aligned with DNeX’s long-term growth, competitiveness and innovation aspirations. Reporting directly to Group Chief Executive Officer Faizal Sham Abu Mansor, she plays a pivotal role in ensuring each business entity within the Group’s IT sector, delivering value-driven and forward-looking technological solutions.
History
Shiraz brings with her over two decades of distinguished experience in the technology industry, having led large-scale digital transformation across both the public and private domains. She is recognised for her deep expertise in stakeholder management, enterprise IT strategy and national-level digital transformation plan implementations. This appointment reaffirms DNeX’s commitment to harnessing exceptional talent and visionary leadership in accelerating digital transformation, delivering innovation, and unlocking sustainable value across its businesses.
She joins DNeX from Microsoft, where she served as Regional Director for Asia, under the Microsoft Worldwide Public Sector business group. In this role, she worked extensively with key government stakeholders and public sector ecosystem within the region, spearheading secure and citizen-centric digital strategies.
Previously, she was Executive Vice President of Group Digital at Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, where she led major initiatives in Cybersecurity, Big Data Innovations and Infrastructure Modernisation. Her leadership helped position Prasarana as a digitally ready organization, reinforcing its readiness for the future of urban mobility.
Her diverse portfolio also includes tenures at global technology giants such as Google Cloud, VMware, SAP, and Alcatel Submarine Networks, as well as at the national connectivity and digital infrastructure provider, Telekom Malaysia Berhad. Throughout her career, she has delivered impactful transformative outcomes in advancing hybrid cloud, Cybersecurity, modernising national networks and Enterprise IT strategy for major organisations including Telekom Malaysia, Axiata Group, Petronas Group, and key government ministries.
Her foundational career with Microsoft Malaysia in 2012 was equally impactful, where she led national ICT initiatives that enabled early public sector cloud adoption. Her outstanding contributions earned her top performer accolades for Outstanding Performance.
Shiraz Ramli holds an MBA in Marketing from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a BBA (Hons) in Multimedia Marketing from Multimedia University.
