Cyberjaya, 28 February 2020 – Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”), through wholly-owned subsidiary OGPC Sdn Bhd, has won a contract from PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of outdoor payment terminals for PETRONAS stations.
The contract, valued at about RM14 million, is for a period of one year from 19 February 2020.
PETRONAS stations nationwide are equipped with Outdoor Payment Terminals, which offer customers a choice to pay using debit or credit card. For ease and faster card transactions, these terminals are enhanced with the latest card readers.
“The contract win from PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad gives us the confidence to continue building on our achievement to boost OGPC’s orderbook,” said Datuk Samsul Husin, Executive Deputy Chairman of DNeX.
He said the project augurs well with OGPC’s strategy to provide digitalisation solutions in the energy sector including the downstream sector.
OGPC, which is a supplier, service provider and contractor for oil and gas, petrochemical, power, palm oil and general industries, has been contributing a new stream of revenue to DNeX since the Group acquired the company in 2016.
The company, the current distributor of technical and engineering products from reputable global manufacturers, is also working to expand its global principals to better serve customers.
