Kuala Lumpur, 1 September 2015 – Global Halal Exchange, an eMarketplace for the Halal industry, today signs a merchant services agreement with Al Ansar Health Sdn Bhd and a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with Xiddig Cellular Communications Sdn Bhd in efforts to expand the eMarketplace’s community.

The merchant services agreement with Al Ansar Health, a leading provider of health and wellness products and services, is to formalise an MoU agreement signed between the two parties on 30 June 2015. The MoU agreement between Global Halal Exchange and Xiddig, a provider of telecommunications services, is meant to launch cooperation between the two parties.

At the merchant services agreement signing, Global Halal Exchange was represented by Puan Zulina Mohammed Salleh, Chief Executive Officer of Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd while Al Ansar Health’s Chief Executive Officer Encik Mohd Bakhtiar Abu Bakar signed on behalf of his company. The signing was witnessed by Dato’ Seri Muhamad Khanafi Husin, Executive Chairman of Al Ansar Health and Datuk Samsul Husin, Executive Deputy Chairman of DNeX.

At the MoU agreement signing, Global Halal Exchange was represented by Puan Zulina Mohammed Salleh, Chief Executive Officer of Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd while Xiddig was represented by its Director, Encik Mahmud Mohamed. The signing was witnessed by Dato’ Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahim, Executive Chairman of Xiddig and Datuk Samsul Husin, Executive Deputy Chairman of DNeX.

At the event, Global Halal Exchange also launched its new and improved eMarketplace, accessible at www.globalhalalexchange.com, aimed at taking the Halal industry online where companies or individuals can get suppliers or buyers for their products and services as well as obtain and exchange information on the industry within clicks.

The eMarketplace features six pillars of products and services namely Wellness, Telecommunications, Services, Travel, Fashion, and Food & Beverages.
