Cyberjaya, 22 February 2024 – Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”), through its subsidiary Innovation Associates Consulting Sdn Bhd (“IAC”), has clinched a maintenance contract extension from the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (“IRBM”).
Under the contract, IAC will be responsible for the software maintenance and support as well as applications improvements of the board’s Hasil Integrated Taxation Systems (“HITS”).

According to Tan Sri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir, Executive Chairman of DNeX, the contract demonstrated DNeX’s capabilities in providing a comprehensive range of information technology (“IT”) services and solutions.
“We are grateful to IRBM for its continued trust in us in the implementation of this project, which can strengthen IAC’s capabilities in the deployment and maintaining a complex system developed using a low-code application development platform,” he said.
Key areas of services provided by IAC also include next generation enterprise resource planning solutions, cloud application and migration services, consulting and digital capability, application development and innovation as well as infrastructure and integration services. “DNeX is committed to becoming the technology partner of choice by developing innovative solutions that accelerate digital transformation to enhance efficiencies and lower operating cost for users. Our strategic plan involves expanding our service offerings by advancing our capabilities and seizing opportunities in new technology areas such as IoT, Big Data and analytics. This will put us in a strong position when tendering for large-scale IT and digitalisation projects from the public and private sectors, locally and abroad.”
“Towards this end, we are cultivating partnerships with key technology leaders and global companies with the right technical know-how and expansive business networks. In Malaysia, we have partnered with companies such as MIMOS Berhad, Accenture Solutions Sdn Bhd and Strateq Sdn Bhd to create joint digital and technology offerings. Globally, we have entered into collaborations with reputable organisations including Ajlan & Bros, one of the largest private sector conglomerates in the Middle East and key Chinese technology partners to bid for technology projects in the Middle East and North Africa region.
