Kuala Lumpur, 2 February 2016 – Global Halal Exchange, an eMarketplace for the Halal industry, signed Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) and Memorandum of Cooperation (“MoC”) with three partners to collaborate in offering a range of Halal products and services via the eMarketplace.
Under the MoC with International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (“ISRA”) and MoU with Yakin Frozen Food Sdn Bhd, Global Halal Exchange will provide an online platform for the two parties to market their products and services. Under the MoU with Masjid Kg Seri Aman, Global Halal Exchange will serve as an online platform for the public to contribute to the mosque’s wakaf-related initiatives.
At the MoU signing held in Kuala Lumpur recently, Global Halal Exchange was represented by Puan Zulina Mohammed Salleh, Director Special Projects of Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”) while ISRA was represented by its Director of Operations Encik Abu Bakar Sidek. Yakin Frozen Food was represented by its Managing Director Encik Muhammad Iqbal Noorul Huq, and Masjid Kg Seri Aman was represented by its Chairman Haji Shahrudin Sapian. DNeX’s Executive Deputy Chairman Datuk Samsul Husin witnessed the signing.
