Cyberjaya, 8 October 2026 – Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”) today announced that it has amicably reached a global settlement with Beijing Integrated Circuit Advanced Manufacturing and High-End Equipment Equity Investment Fund Center (Limited Partnership) (“CGP Fund”) and its related parties, bringing to a close all outstanding arbitration and litigation between them as shareholders of SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“SilTerra”). The salient terms are set out in DNeX’s announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad dated 8 October 2026.

The settlement was entered into on a mutual basis, without any admission of liability and with no compensation payable, save for the reimbursement of legal-related costs between the parties. It has been recorded as a consent order before the High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur.

The settlement maintains the existing shareholding structure and brings the shareholder matter to a close. Throughout the dispute, SilTerra’s operations remained fully uninterrupted, with no impact on its day-to-day business, customer commitments, workforce and partnerships. With the matter now resolved, SilTerra can remain firmly focused on execution, growth and capturing the opportunities ahead.

For DNeX, the settlement brings a protracted shareholder dispute to a close and reinforces DNeX’s ability to support and shape SilTerra’s next phase of growth. With both shareholders now firmly aligned on SilTerra’s long term direction, DNeX can focus on supporting SilTerra’s continued evolution, building on its strong technological capabilities and established position as a globally relevant semiconductor foundry. This includes expanding its market share in strategic areas such as silicon photonics, a pivotal technology underpinning today’s artificial intelligence (“AI”) data centre ecosystem and the next generation of AI infrastructure.

Commenting on the settlement, Vinie Chong Pui Ling, Interim Officer-in-Charge, Group Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer of DNeX said, “DNeX and CGP Fund remain fully aligned in our commitment to SilTerra and its next phase of growth, including through further capital injection where required. With the shareholder matter now resolved, DNeX can focus on supporting SilTerra to capture the opportunities ahead and ultimately unlock greater value from our investment in the company. As AI accelerates demand for advanced semiconductors and high speed optical connectivity, SilTerra is well positioned to capture these opportunities, particularly through its silicon photonics capabilities and collaborations in next generation optical interconnect technologies. With aligned shareholders, a seasoned management team and a clear growth agenda, our ambition is for SilTerra to build on its Malaysian roots and further strengthen its position in the global semiconductor ecosystem.”
